Welcome to the Shalford Nursery, providing early years education for 2-4 year olds in Acorn Class.

We are able to take children for 30 hours and 15-hour sessions all of which offer a nurturing and exciting learning  environment. 

At Shalford Nursery, our exceptional staff aim to provide a safe, happy, varied and stimulating environment where your child will thrive.  We offer your child the opportunity to learn and explore using a wide range of activities and equipment covering all areas of the early years curriculum, providing the best possible foundations for their future. Our setting is in a large, light and airy classroom with a bespoke outdoor area where your child can play, explore and learn all year round, bringing the outdoors in. 

Each child is unique, and we work in partnership with parents and carers to deliver the best environment for every child that attends.

During term time, we are open from 9.00 am to 3:00 pm five days a week.

 You can choose for your child to bring a packed lunch, or you can opt for your child to have a hot meal. Meals are provided by Innovate Food and prepared off site at King's College and you can choose from a menu on their behalf. This option is available to our Nursery Children at a cost and details of how you can pay can be obtained from the school office.

The uniform for the nursery children consists of:

• plain or school logo red polo shirt
• plain or school red sweatshirt
• plain or school logo grey jogging bottoms
• plain grey shorts
• trainers
